Bringing Sexy Back: How RPR’s Mobile App Is Revolutionizing Reporting For REALTORS®

If you know anything about me, you know that when it comes to mobile tech and things that makes life easier, I’m like a little kid in a toy store. There’s not much that gets me excited as this stuff.

So when RPR (Realtors Property Resource®) launched its mobile app last fall, I was more excited than a sugared-up 10 year old at a sleepover (and that’s pretty excited).

Why All the Excitement Then?

First off, RPR is one of the greatest Real Estate tools you need to be using. And if you’re not, you’re missing out on some stuff that’ll make you look, in the eyes of your customers, like the biggest rockstar REALTOR® in the history of the world.

And its mobile app—which syncs and works seamlessly with RPR’s website—takes things to an entirely new level.

Available in the AppStore and on Google Play (and with an app for iPad coming soon), RPR Mobile is revolutionizing reporting for REALTORS. Less about the 166,000,000 properties and less overwhelming than the full site, RPR Mobile is about accessibility. It’s about giving consumers—and you—exactly what you need, exactly when you need it.

 Power at your Fingertips.

RPR Mobile’s homepage gives you full access to current market activity, which you can drill down to get the most localized content available. Swipe once to get current market trends, swipe again to search by more criteria than you can shake a stick at. You can search by address, zip code, or by the app’s geolocation information: it knows where you are and can give you information right down to the street level.

I’m About to Blow Your Mind.

We all know that RPR, powered by REALTORS®, for REALTORS®, is more drilled in to your local MLS than any other application out there. But one thing you’ll get with RPR that you don’t get anywhere else—and that includes your MLS’s website—is reports about for sale by owner listings & their home data (FSBOs, as most agents call them).

Imagine this: you’re in your local coffee shop with new buyer clients, getting set to head out and look at houses. You’ll open up RPR Mobile and you can see every single house that’s for sale—including all the ones that aren’t listed on the MLS. Choose either map view or list view, and you will get comprehensive reports for every piece of information you want about any of those houses, right down to the nittiest of the nitty gritty (or at least all that’s available).

There are MLS listings and sales data and public record and tax assessment information. You’ll get property photos, physical characteristics, showing instructions, owner info, tax, mortgage, historical and distressed data, flood zones, school info and everything else you wanted to know, but were afraid to ask.

Reports, now with more sexy.

RPR Mobile has some features, too, that are positively smokin’, to say the least. Coming in the few weeks will be a new, single-page flyer that you can easily send to anyone who’s looking for information about a house.

How’s this for an awesome touchpoint for buyers? You’re in an open house. Buyers come in and are interested in the home. In a flash, you can queue up the property’s one-page report on RPR Mobile and text it to them in a snap. Shoot them a quick “thank you” along with it and, just like that, you’re making contact and providing great customer service. Easy.

But there’s more! In addition to the new report styles, the new mobile app lets you customize things, too. You can add notes, a custom photo—maybe you’re in front of a house, doing a preview, snap a picture with your phone and voilà! It’s on its way to your client.

It’s everything you expect from RPR, and all in your pocket.

And one of the best things about RPR (and this is something that people forget about all the time!) is that it’s FREE. Yes, it’s part of your NAR dues, you’ve already paid for it, so why aren’t you using it?

It’s time real estate got a little sexy back. RPR is bringing it, and it’s bringing it better and faster than anybody else.
